The "Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application Unit" was established under the Deanship of Atatürk Faculty of Education since 2010-11 in order to carry out the applications of undergraduate and graduate programs for the need to practice, which is one of the requirements of training psychological counselors. Applied courses and applications of academic studies are carried out in the unit.

As of 2010, the quota is 85 people. An introduction and orientation activity is carried out by the faculty members of the department within the first 10 days for our newly registered students to the department in Göztepe campus. In addition, the student handbook prepared and published by our University since 2007 has been distributed. It is recommended that this book, which is a good guide for students and faculty members to learn about the operating laws and regulations, be read carefully and comply with the rules.
